Each week the San Angelo Standard-Times lists the Top Athletic Performances in West Texas in their sports section.  We had 5 Coleman High School athletes named this week!  Congratulations on your successes and acknowledgement!  Below are the Coleman Volleyball and Football athletes included in the list of top performers in West Texas high school athletics from Oct. 3-9, 2021:

Aislyn Cox, Coleman: The senior who is normally a setter for the Bluekatts filled in at middle back and middle hitter in two District 8-2A volleyball wins for Coleman. She finished with 21 kills, 47 digs, five aces and one assist. 

Ryland Gentry, Coleman: The junior running back carried 14 times for 166 yards and two TDs in the Bluecats’ 47-0 win over De Leon in a District 4-2A Division I football game. 

Brylei Gilbreath, Coleman: The all-rotation junior who plays outside finished with 37 digs, eight aces and four kills as the Bluekatts won two District 8-2A volleyball matches to stay in second place. 

Jadin Jackson, Coleman: The sophomore quarterback carried seven times for 92 yards and two TDs in the Bluecats’ 47-0 win over De Leon in a District 4-2A Division I football game. 

Devinar Roberson, Coleman: The senior running back carried three times for 84 yards and two TDs in the Bluecats’ 47-0 win over De Leon in a District 4-2A Division I football game.
