The JV Bluecats handily beat Gorman's JV 10-1. Gorman scored in the 1st inning and allowed only one hit by the Cats in the bottom of the 1st - Jadin Jackson singled. The Cats held Gorman off in the 2nd and then proceeded to take control of the game when they came up to the plate in the bottom of the 2nd.

Gavyn McDonald walked, then stole 2nd base while Ethan Mickler was up to bat. Mickler then hit a pop fly to right field, taking McDonald to 3rd. Adam Mason grounded out with the pitcher throwing the ball to first, and McDonald scored. Mickler moved to 3rd. With one out and score 1-1, Hagen Cavanaugh reached on a 3rd strike and passed ball, and Mickler scored (2-1). Kaden Johnson singled bringing Cavanaugh home, after having moved to 2nd on error by the catcher. (3-1)

Jadin Jackson tripled bringing Johnson home (4-1) and Garrett Smith and Hunter Lackey walked; Jackson had scored on a passed ball. (5-1) While Seth Mills was at bat, Smith and Lackey each stole a base.  After Seth struck out, McDonald came to the plate for the 2nd time in the inning and was walked. Smith had scored on a passed ball (6-1).

Mickler was walked and while Adam Mason was at bat, Lackey and McDonald both scored on passed balls. (8-1) The Cats scored two more runs in the 3rd, taking the victory 10-1.  JV will not have a game on Friday, April 2nd - Varsity only will play in Winters at noon.
