Aislyn Cox took the win for the Bluekatts on Tuesday, pitching for four innings, allowing two runs on only two hits and striking out ten Baird batters leading Coleman to a 25-5 win over Baird.

Assisting in the win, Raelea Robinson would not be denied at the plate. Robinson singled in the first, tripled in the second, singled in the third, and doubled in the fourth, getting 4 hits in 5 at bats.

Coleman tallied nine runs in both the third and fourth innings. The fourth inning was thanks to walks by Elizabeth Harris, Alexyss Bigham, and Landree Kaufman, singles by Aislyn Cox and Callie Pickett, and doubles by Chalyce Stovall and Robinson.

Coleman tallied 18 hits. Robinson (4), Mia Watson (3), Brylei Gilbreath (2), Brooklyn Gilbreath (2), and Stovall (2) each managed multiple hits.

Cox got a win in the books and Ipsha Bhatka threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

The Bluekatts are scheduled to play their next game on Saturday, February 27th in Coleman against Cross Plains. The first pitch will take place at Noon.

Following that game, the Bluecats begin DISTRICT 6-2A against Christoval on Tuesday, March 2nd at 4:00pm in San Angelo, at the Bell Street Complex.  A 2021 CHS Softball schedule is attached, along with the stats from the Baird game.
