Coleman Bluecats watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 9-2 loss to Hamilton on Tuesday. The JV also lost, 11-6 (Article follows Varsity's - Stats attached). Coleman will play Friday, April 9th IN Goldthwaite with Varsity beginning at 4:30 and JV to follow.
The Bluecats struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Hamilton. Coleman scored one run when Denver Hunter stole 3rd and then home in the top of the 2nd inning. The second run was scored on a Corbin Rosales ground out allowing Roby Odom to go home for the run.
Weaver took the win for Hamilton. The hurler went five and a third innings, allowing two runs on two hits and striking out 12. Bailey threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Roby Odom took the loss for Coleman allowing three hits and seven runs over three innings, striking out seven.

The Bluecat JV also fell to Hamilton with a score of 11-6. Even though Coleman scored first, the Bulldogs scored five to take the lead in the 1st inning, never relinquishing it.
Jadin Jackson got on base after getting hit by a pitch, and Garrett Smith doubled to center field to bring Jackson home. Late in the 2nd inning, while Smith was at bat again, Ethan Mickler scored on an error by the shortstop. Then Smith singled bringing Hagen Cavanaugh home. The Bluecats JV scored 3 in the final inning, but wasn't enough to overtake Hamilton.
