The Coleman Bluecats remained undefeated on the season with a 49-0 home triumph over the Grape Creek Eagles Friday night.  Attached are PDF documents of the Defensive and Offensive Stats from the Grape Creek game.  

Coleman scored all its points in the first half – 21 in the first quarter and 28 in the second – as the Bluecats finished with 339 yards of total offense. Defensively, Coleman yielded 120 yards – 89 on the ground and 48 through the air – to Grape Creek (1-3).

Jadin Jackson rushed for 80 of Coleman’s 231 yards on the ground and scored twice, while Denver Hunter chipped in 63 yards and a touchdown. Brent Bouldin added 25 yards and a score, Ryland Gentry rushed for 17 yards and a touchdown and Dayden Hunter chipped in 16 yards with a trip to the end zone.

Jackson also completed 6 of 8 passes for 106 yards with a scoring toss to Braxton Smith, who pulled down three catches for 77 yards. Gentry added a 22-yard catch, Hagen Cavanaugh grabbed a 15-yard reception and Denver Hunter caught a 7-yard pass.

Defensive standouts for Coleman included Gentry with 15 tackles including four for loss, Christian Espitia with eight tackles, and Will Faries with seven tackles with three for loss.

Next week, Coleman (3-0) welcomes Colorado City (0-4), coming off a 26-12 loss to Coahoma, for homecoming.  We'll share more stats when available.
