Coleman fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 9-0 loss to Hamilton on Thursday. The Bluecats struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Hamilton.

Damara Thomas would not be denied at the plate when runners were on base, driving in four on three hits to lead Coleman past Hamilton 24-1 on Thursday. Thomas drove in runs on a groundout in the first, a double in the third, and a single in the fourth.

The Coleman High School area track qualifiers competed on Wednesday at Jim Ned HS.  Complete results will be posted when available.  Photos show these medalists qualifying for the Regional Meet, which will be held at ACU in Abilene on April 26th and 27th.

Coleman fought back after falling down by six runs in the second inning. The comeback fell just short though, in a 9-8 loss to Early on Tuesday. Coleman scored eight runs in the 3rd inning after getting runners on bases by walks, dropped 3rd strikes, singles, doubles and a hit-by-pitch.

The Panther Creek Track Team will be competing in the Area Track Meet on Tuesday, April 16th in Sterling City, Texas.  Good luck to these athletes!  

The Area Track meet for the Coleman Bluekatt qualifiers is Wednesday, April 17th at Jim Ned High School in Tuscola.  Schools competing in this meet are: Anson, Bangs, Cisco, Clyde, Coahoma, Coleman Colorado City, Comanche, Dublin, Early, Eastland, Hamilton, Jim Ned, Merkel and Stanton. 

Coleman's effort to come back from down 5 runs came up just short, as they fell 7-6 to Comanche on Friday. The Bluekatts managed four runs in the 7th inning comeback attempt. Alyssa Thomas, Tallye Harris, Damara Thomas, Ginny Arnold, Aislyn Cox, and Thomas fueled the rally with RBIs.

CHS Juniors are hosting a Dodgeball Tournament Friday, April 12th from 9:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m!  There is a $2 entry fee to watch, which will go to help the Junior class prom committee.  They will also have concessions for sale.  Sounds like an entertaining time!

Coleman watched the game slip away in a 7-0 loss to Eastland on Tuesday, even though Eastland had only scored 1 run through four innings.

The CJHS track teams will travel to Comanche on Friday, April 5th to compete in the District track meet. The field events will begin at 3:30 and running events will begin no more than 15 minutes after the field events. Good Luck CJHS!

Coleman Bluecats beat Comanche 7-2 on Tuesday.  Roby Odom led things off on the mound for Coleman Bluecats Varsity. He surrendered zero runs on two hits over four innings, striking out three.

The Panther Creek Lady Panthers track season is under way. Junior, Glenda Parra, competed in the Santa Anna Relays and the Tiger Relays in Blanket. She placed first at each meet with throws of 94'1" and 95'8" respectively.

The Coleman Bluekatt Softball Team lost their first district game Wednesday afternoon in Coleman to the Eastland Lady Mavs. The final score was Eastland 18, Coleman 0 making Eastland 4-0 while Coleman drops to 3-1 and second place in the early stages of district 6AAA competition.

The Coleman Bluekatts began their track season with a nice second place finish overall in the Ballinger Bearcat Relays. We had many athletes finish 1st, 2nd or 3rd in events. Here are the results:

Seven Panther Creek basketball players have been honored by making Academic All-District. They include Alex Torres (Sr), Brayan Avila (Sr), Matthew Morris (Sr), Ricky Agnew (So), CJ Blick (So), Austin Sternadel (Jr), Canyon Jackson (Sr).

Tallye Harris went 5 for 5 with two home runs and 7 RBI to help lead the Coleman Bluekatts to a 16-8 district victory over the Cisco Lady Loboes Tuesday evening in Cisco.
