Coleman Bluecats stayed in it until the end, but Ballinger pulled away late in a 12-4 victory on Thursday. The game was tied at four with Ballinger batting in the bottom of the fifth when Busenlehner singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs, which was the start of a 9-run inning. 

Coleman Bluekatts fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 12-3 loss to Cisco on Monday. Cisco scored on two doubles in the first inning and a single and a home run in the second inning to take a 6-0 lead.

The Bluekatts are in the Eula softball tournament this weekend and the game times were originally on the season schedule.  According to Coach Cody LeCroy those times have changed.  Instead they will be playing Friday and Saturday at the following times: 

Coach David Story had two girls and one young man qualify for the Regional Powerlifting meet.  Senior Terra Reed, Sophomore Alisha Parks and Sophomore Jared Fain have advanced in their weight classes. 

Coleman Bluecats watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in an 11-0 loss to Anson on Tuesday.  The Bluecats struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Anson.

Coleman fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 24-5 loss to Hawley on Monday.  The score was 6-3 at the end of the 3rd inning, and the Katts were staying close. However, Bluekatt fielding errors became a problem in the 14-run 4th inning.

Coleman ISD will be hosting the boys’ Regional Qualifiers basketball playoff game, Eula vs. Richland Springs, on Tuesday, March 3rd. Tipoff is at 6:30 p.m.

The high school track meet scheduled in Ballinger this Thursday, March 5th, has been moved to Winters. It will be held at the same time, just a change of venue.  The new track at Ballinger is not ready due to construction delays.

Coleman High School and Coleman Jr. High will be competing in the Cross Plains Buffalo Relays this week.  High School will compete on Thursday, February 27th and Junior High will complete on Friday, February 28th.  Attached are the meet schedules.
