James "Doc" Nall is retiring from Coleman ISD this year.  The High School is hosting a retirement reception open to family and friends from 1:00-2:00 pm today in the commons area.  We congratulate Nall on his retirement and can honestly say, "He's one of the good guys!"  We will miss you!

With a time of 56.86 seconds, Coleman's Shiean Walters won the Class 3-A State Championship in the 400 meter run at Mike Myers Stadium in Austin Friday night.  Words can't describe the pride we feel in her accomplishment!  Congratulations SHIEAN and Coach Brooke Norris!

Santa Anna HS has announced their All District softball honorees.  Receiving all-district are: 

The annual Bluecat sports banquet will be held Monday, May 13 at the Bill Franklin Center.  The meal prepared  by Dusty & Kristi Greaves and Brent & Renea McMillan will consist of brisket, sausage, pinto beans, macaroni & cheese, a relish plate, banana pudding, and tea.

Shiean Walters has qualified in TWO events for the State Track Meet in Austin. She had qualified for the 400 M by placing 2nd at the Regional Meet.  Coach Brooke Norris was notified that Walters was chosen as the wildcard 9th person and will also compete in the 100 M Dash.

The Santa Anna Mountaineers have three athletes that have advanced to the State track meet.  Freshman Hannah Paron placed 1st in the 1600 M Run and 2nd in the 3200 M Run at the Regional meet.  Senior Domanic Enriquez won both the 3200 M and the  1600 M runs at Regional.  Senior Jake Smiley p…

Shiean Walters has done it again!  She qualified for state in the open quarter running a 57.4 at the Regional meet.  She placed 2nd in a tight race with a very close finish.  Walters also ran the 100m, but finished in 3rd with a 12.3 behind two girls that beat a 19-year regional meet record.…

Coleman watched their final game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 7-0 loss to Bangs on Friday. The Bluecats struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Bangs, giving up seven runs.

The CHS girls' golf team traveled to Baird on Thursday to compete in the Region 1-3A Tournament.  The tournament was scheduled for 2 rounds on Wednesday and Thursday.  The rain forced a cancellation of one round, so the teams played only on Thursday, for a one-round Regional tournament.  Col…

Coleman fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 9-0 loss to Hamilton on Thursday. The Bluecats struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Hamilton. 

Damara Thomas would not be denied at the plate when runners were on base, driving in four on three hits to lead Coleman past Hamilton 24-1 on Thursday. Thomas drove in runs on a groundout in the first, a double in the third, and a single in the fourth.

The Coleman High School area track qualifiers competed on Wednesday at Jim Ned HS.  Complete results will be posted when available.  Photos show these medalists qualifying for the Regional Meet, which will be held at ACU in Abilene on April 26th and 27th.

Coleman fought back after falling down by six runs in the second inning. The comeback fell just short though, in a 9-8 loss to Early on Tuesday. Coleman scored eight runs in the 3rd inning after getting runners on bases by walks, dropped 3rd strikes, singles, doubles and a hit-by-pitch.  

The Panther Creek Track Team will be competing in the Area Track Meet on Tuesday, April 16th in Sterling City, Texas.  Good luck to these athletes!  

The Area Track meet for the Coleman Bluekatt qualifiers is Wednesday, April 17th at Jim Ned High School in Tuscola.  Schools competing in this meet are: Anson, Bangs, Cisco, Clyde, Coahoma, Coleman Colorado City, Comanche, Dublin, Early, Eastland, Hamilton, Jim Ned, Merkel and Stanton. 

Coleman's effort to come back from down 5 runs came up just short, as they fell 7-6 to Comanche on Friday. The Bluekatts managed four runs in the 7th inning comeback attempt. Alyssa Thomas, Tallye Harris, Damara Thomas, Ginny Arnold, Aislyn Cox, and Thomas fueled the rally with RBIs.

CHS Juniors are hosting a Dodgeball Tournament Friday, April 12th from 9:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m!  There is a $2 entry fee to watch, which will go to help the Junior class prom committee.  They will also have concessions for sale.  Sounds like an entertaining time!

The CJHS track teams will travel to Comanche on Friday, April 5th to compete in the District track meet. The field events will begin at 3:30 and running events will begin no more than 15 minutes after the field events. Good Luck CJHS!

Coleman High School tennis teams, coached by Cheyenne Self, traveled to Early on Tuesday and Wednesday to compete in the district meet.  Coleman brought home 2 team trophies, as well as many medals.  Congratulations to you all!  Results are as follows:
