The Coleman PRCA Rodeo gets underway with two free events on Wednesday, June 12, in the Coleman County State Bank Arena. Steer Roping starts at 8:00 am Wednesday featuring 52 ropers and three go-rounds of competition. It's a Who's Who of Steer Ropers with current World #1 Vin Fisher Jr., 2018 World Champion Scott Snedecor, Trevor Brazile and Tuf Cooper, just to name a few.
The Coleman County Cowgirls will be serving breakfast adjacent to the arena Wednesday morning so come out, have breakfast and watch some Steer Roping.
On Wednesday night at 6:00 pm, Slack competition will feature several World Champions, current and past, competing in Steer Wrestling, Tie-Down Roping, Team Roping and Barrel Racing. Once again, admission is free Wednesday night.
The first night of the 82nd Coleman PRCA Rodeo, at 8:00 pm Thursday, is FAMILY NIGHT. All ages over 6 pay only $2 at the gate or buy online.
Advance rodeo tickets are on sale through 5:00 pm Wednesday, June 12. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children. Ticket outlets are Coleman County State Bank, Coleman County Chamber of Commerce, Coleman InterBank, Cavender's Western Wear in Abilene, KEAN Radio in Abilene, KOXE Radio in Brownwood, Stanley Dodge in Brownwood and Blair's Western Wear in San Angelo.
