On March 17, 2023, the Coleman Police Department in cooperation with the Santa Anna Police Department executed a search warrant in the 400 block of West Liveoak Street in Coleman, Texas. A large quantity of Methamphetamine was seized as well as drug paraphernalia, scales, and stolen property. Michael Lee Barnett, 52, was arrested for 1st Degree Felony Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1. Barnett was placed in the Coleman County Jail and his bond was set at $50,000.00 by the Coleman County Justice of the Peace, according to Coleman Police Chief Marty Baker.
