A Coleman man was arrested on a parole violation warrant and faces several charges following a Saturday arrest. According to a news release from Sergeant Doug Butler of the Coleman Police Department, Coleman Police, assisted by the Coleman County Sherriff’s Office and Santa Anna Police Department, executed a search warrant in the 1800 block of South Neches in Coleman on Saturday, August 10th. During the search of the residence, a large amount of methamphetamine, pills and firearms were located. One of the firearms was confirmed as being stolen.
Johnathan Watson, 29, of Coleman was arrested on scene for a parole violation warrant. Charges for Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 <4gms >200gms, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon and other charges are being filed on Watson and other individuals.
