Burn ban Lifted
According to Judge Billy Bledsoe, Coleman County Commissioners have lifted the burn ban for Coleman County.  From the Coleman Fire Department:  Please remember to exercise caution when burning. If you are planning to burn in the county, or burning in a barrel in the city, call dispatch at 325-625-3506 and they will add you to the daily burn log to prevent unnecessary dispatching of emergency resources. If you would like to burn on the ground in the city limits, you can apply for a burn permit at the fire station 117 N. Concho Street.  State law only allows burning during daylight hours and prohibits burning anything other than natural wood products, such as limbs and leaves.  Stay safe everyone!
