Fast action by firefighters saved a home in Coleman Saturday morning. The Coleman and Santa Anna Fire Departments responded to a house fire at 310 Miami Street in Coleman, the home of Cathy Pickett. A neighbor reported the fire at 7:39 am.

The Coleman Bluecats improved to 2-0 in District with a decisive 49-12 victory Friday night over San Angelo TLCA. The victory was their third in a row with previous wins over district opponent Grape Creek and non-district opponent Goldthwaite.  The Bluecats are 3-2 on the season.
