Sunday, January 26th 1885, in a blinding blizzard, a meeting was called by the Reverend W. B. Bloys at the First Presbyterian Church to form a Library Association. As a result of that meeting the Coleman Public Library has been serving the people of Coleman County for 135 years.

The Coleman County 2019 Toy Drive ended on Thursday, December 19th when Santa’s Elves gave out bags of toys to 105 children from 50 families for Christmas. The elves worked really hard to fulfill the wishes of these children. They registered applicants, sorted, packaged and distributed the toys.

Coleman County Medical Center invites you to celebrate the Retirement of Ted Boatright.  They will hold a reception TODAY, January 15th from 4-6 pm at the Coleman Public Library.  Boatright has worked in the hospital for 58 years.
