Coleman High School Class of 2021

Bailey Kimmel is the daughter of Justin and Tricia Kimmel.

Throughout her high school career, she has been involved in many activities. Bailey was an Honorable Mention Cast Member in the 2021 One Act Play ‘The Savannah Sipping Society, as well as an Honorable Mention in 2020 One Act Play ‘A Midsummer Night Dream.’ She has been in One Act Play and Theatre all four years, receiving the C award in Theatre in 2019. Bailey has participated in UIL Feature Writing, Editorial, Copy Editing, and Prose and Poetry. She advanced to state in Feature her senior year, and was the Regional Alternate in Editorial her sophomore year. Bailey is the President of the Coleman County Junior Chamber, where she works to serve on different projects to improve the community. She is also the President of the National Honor Society. Bailey was chosen as the Coleman County youth representative for the 10-day Electric Co-Op trip to Washington D.C, where she spent time with students from across the country learning about government in action. Bailey was the 1st Runner Up in the Miss Coleman County Pageant in 2019 and the 3rd Runner up in 2018. Bailey has participated in Spanish Club, Basketball, FCCLA, Student Council, Softball, and The Make A Difference Project.

She has worked at Leon Valley Inc. and 4K Cattle Company for the past four years. Bailey has remained in the top 5 percent of her class all of high school and has graduated from Cisco Junior College with her associates degree, where she is also a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

Bailey plans to attend Abilene Christian University in the Fall to study Computer Science.

Bailey is also the first student from Coleman High School that graduated with her associates degree, which she received from Cisco College, before graduating with her high school diploma.
