Coleman High School Class of 2020

Jenna Deramus is the daughter of Jeremy and Christina Deramus. While attending Coleman High School Jenna participated in the following activities: Cheerleading, FFA, Theatre Arts, Rocketry, Student Council, Athletics, Band, Junior Chamber, and UIL Academics. She was also a Class Officer and selected to the National Honor Society. Specific awards and honors are listed below.  

Jenna plans to attend Texas A&M University for a Bachelors in Biomedical Sciences and continue on to medical school.

    • Dual Credit courses are classes that can be taken in high school to receive college hours. Taken 18 hours will all A grades.

    • This award goes to the girl in the class who has the highest overall GPA at the end of the academic year.

    • Selected to be inducted into NHS Junior year. Requires 15 hours of community service hours a semester, good academics, and involvement in extracurricular activities. A speaker at the 2019 induction ceremony.

  • Original poetry is submitted and selected on a national level and those chosen are published in a Poetry Book. Selected and published Freshman year.

  • Class of 2020 Community Service
    • Worked for the Class of 2020 throughout high school in the concession stands, field day, and making valentines day “Crushes” to raise money for after prom and senior expenses.
    • Athletic Booster Club Community Service - Assisted the booster club in preparing and taking down ribbons around town, football field decorations and flags, paw print painting, and decorations for the end of the year banquet.
