Families with school-age children in Coleman County are invited to attend the Coleman County Together Back-to-School Bonanza at the Bill Franklin Center on Saturday, July 31st.  Get ready for the beginning of the new school year by joining them for a completely free event that will include eye and dental screenings, physicals for UIL participation and school bus drivers, give-away items from local businesses, civic organizations and churches, pulled-pork sliders for lunch, and drawings for a variety of prizes for both students and their parents.  In addition, Coleman County Together and the Ballinger Health Department will provide childhood immunizations for all Coleman County students on Tuesday, August 3rd, from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Bill Franklin Center.  Information and sign-up will be provided at the Bonanza on Saturday.  This is a great opportunity for families to interact with each other, teachers both current and retired, city services personnel, and people in our county who support the success of our children and our three school districts.
